practicing yoga
Yoga has accompanied me for seven years now. I embarked on the journey inspired by my mom, and it became a shared movement practice, only about two years later, I caught an interest in the philosophical background. I read and practiced continuously, until my 200 hrs teacher training and my travels to India, where I dove head first into the culture and immersed myself in the homeland of yoga.
get to know me (a little better)
It took me a long thought to address the question of who I am. Until a few years ago, this answer would have been very simple.
“I am Hannah. At the moment of writing this text, I am 23 years old, just finished university, and am about to travel the world now.”
If you would have then asked me to tell you more, I would have told you, that I am from the south of Germany and grew up in the countryside. I had an extremely sheltered childhood. My parents own a house on a hill, with a view of the valley and a big garden, where I planted a peach tree when I was 7.
the story behind betweenness
be·tween·ness: the quality or state of being between two others ¹
It's the space in between that creates meaning in conversation, determines a poem's melody, and gives time to order puzzling lines of thought. But if we are honest, we rarely grant it moments of conscious attention. In a world that bombards us with buzzing headlines, multiple images on our screens every second, and a perpetual soundscape, we, quite literally, drown in the noise. But what happens when we start engaging with the room in between?
